Author notes

Name: page 19
winzrella onI will warn you before hand that this note will be long!
The previous update with the "Finland 90 years" -picture won't be deleted. I also want to point out that the blue cross of the flag should be darker and more sea-like blue.
Then to other things. On next monday you won't get a page, but you'll get a Christmas picture. It might be a bit stupid to put it up before actual Christmas, but you receive the Christmas cards before Christmas as well, so why not.
This is the last update for the comic this year. Next update will be on next year, but the day of the update is still unknown. On December 30 you will get another special update which will be explained then. Some might already guess what it's about :P If you don't, don't worry, you'll see then.
So I'm going to have a Christmas vacation from making the comic. I still have much to do before Christmas so it's better that I'll put the comic behind me for a while and get all the other things done.
Now I'll try to explain better what's going on with my hands. The situtation is still the same as is written below in this part I saved from the filler update of last monday.
Following is copy-paste from a filler that is now deleted.
"Hand situtation…
I went to this doctor on Thursday and at least something finally happened. He doesn't know what's wrong with my hands, but he gave me these medicines which I'm now using. The painkillers he gave me did work at least today (Saturday) so that's good news. Then he gave me another medicine for the night. Lets see will they help in the end. I'm also going to take a bloodtest again!
So, I don't know what's wrong with my hands, but at least I have something now which might help me with tolerating this all. Too early to say if they help, though."
So the reason for these two medicines is that the doctor suspected that my problem with my hands is because I don't sleep well. I don't remember ever really sleeping well. Waking up with out being immediately. He told me that this sometime cause aching in joints which I do have from time to time also in other places than my hands. Well, the medicine has actually helped me to sleep trough the night with out waking up 3-5 times during it. I have had more energy since I have eaten the night medicine. The other medicine is to be taken during the day if the aching becomes too unbearable or just gives me trouble while doing everyday work. I will hear about the results of the new bloodtest on Thursday. It has to do with thyroid gland (looked into the dictionary to get that word) which also might cause aching if there is something with it.
Now about the page, it's quickly done. I'm sorry for that, but I have been doing Christmas cards for the whole weekend and then I spent about two hours on this page so I could get it done. I also leave you with a slight gliffhanger. Try to guess what Kati is gonna say! You have the rest of the month time to figure it out.
I'm not very happy with the lineart, but Viator's expression worked quite well. I love the bubbles on this page because I could hide terrible mistakes behind them! That's maybe not a very good thing, but I knew from the very beginning that this page would have three big bubbles that would cover a lot.
Thank you Mina_lunga and Peipei for leaving comment on last mondays deleted filler. I did not completely get you comment conserning my hand, Mina_lunga. We tryed to figure the meaning with my sister and we found this long explonation for "autoimmune disorder". I understood the explonation, but just realized that I wouldn't understand it even if someone explained it in Finnish. This is why I'll never be a doctor! XP And it seems it gets dark here a bit earlier than where you are. The picture was from last summer. during summer we have a time when we have no night at all.
What else… I think that was all now. Please enjoy the page and come back for the two updates you are still gonna get this year :D
And now I'll go and finally rest my hands…
