Sorry for the long wait. I have broblems of finding routine in drawing the comic pages… Too much on my mind all the time so I'm not able to calm and sit down just to draw too often. However I was able to finish pages for both of my comics (TWOD will update later this week).
This meeting of the royal advisors and the emperor are what makes this chapter challenging both story- and artwise. Especially conserning this scene that started with previous page I want you to be honest and point out anything that is either confusing or in any other way isn't clear.
This page was challenging in it's own way. I had problems with the middle panel. To get both the characters and the needed text in it was a challenge. So was the last panel, but I think both worked quite well in the end. In some of the future pages I will challenge myself even more since the angles I have planned are quite hard ^^'
I thanked you Peipei on the previous page already but here I thank you again for your comment :)
Mina_Lunga: Good think people liked the color of the last page even thought I could have done better. You always notice tiny things which I think no one will notice but I find important!! :D Yes, the emperor looks frail on purpose. However on this page in the last panel he looks quite big. I blame it on the loose tunic!!
Jenshin: I was extremily happy to receive your long comment!! Thank you!!! :D And you put the main idea of the whole story into words. This is a story that mostly has to do with a hidden (and forgotten) past. And because of that I drop hints here and there just like you said.
Finding out what's wrong with my hands after about 5 years is really great! I think if last autumn wouldn't have been so full of bad things happening to me I would have been jumping and running around after finding out what's wrong. However I was feeling too depressed so I felt pretty much jsut empty after finding out. Thought, for a short moment I really felt like crying right there in front of the doctor (but if I would have done that I would not have been able to listen to what I needed to know.
In all and all my hands are slowly getting better and they are in no way getting worse again. Generally they are stronger than in a long time.
