I know this one needs more explanation. A time gate is a rare gate that only a few (like Haven and Link) know how to make. I don't know how it all works, but I think that if two separate dimensional gates come to be on 1 close area, one could turn into a time gate, causing unsuspecting people to jump into another time and space. Sorry if that still makes no sense.

If anyone else here has read Nintendo's Untold Legends, you probably know that the Xeon sisters are the first real people to make an appearance in the comic. Link from the Zelda series (who the first chapters are based around) has developed a strong working knowledge of all types of gates and it's quite possible that he may have told them how to create one. THKNN would know more then me.
