As I was inking this, I realized I'd missed a panel, so I had to go and redraw the layout on a different paper. Then I lost that, so I redid it. Then I found it. So I was mad. I think, in general, I'm not too happy with this page. Both the drawings of Leanael are icky, the page has too many panels, and I still missed out on some of the stuff in the script. I was going to redraw Leanael and the Corryll, but I got so fed up with this page I decided to leave it.
The one good thing is that when I went to computer edit this page, Paint Shop Pro actually worked without lagging like mad! So, instead of studying for my science test like I should, I finished this page. I'd forgotten how much fun comicking was, because I'd finished a few pages weeks ahead and put them up so I didn't have to work on comics for a while. But that supply ran out last week so I started again.
I'm trying to get as big a buffer as I can get of whatever I can accomplish. I usually do a whole page at a time, but now I have all the good copy layouts of panels done for the next ten or so pages. It somehow makes me feel like I've done a lot more. Sometimes I do value quality over quantity… I don't think that's exactly good for me.
I edited the outside text format again. Hopefully that's the last change, because every change is for the better… right? - XeaRi
