OMG lack of text! And not-lack of magic! I'd forgotten how I did Vark's eye back on page 19, so I kind of improvised. I guess next time I'll have to write it down. I remember it being on PSP, though, and taking ages just to preview, let alone do it on the actual page. Well, the colour is small on this page, so it's not too bad. As you can see, it's not the same colour. Well, that's because it's not the same Element. It'll be explained later on… in chapter three…
Usually text doesn't go outside of panels unless they're talking between two panels (for example if one character is in each panel and they're talking to each other). But it's good to be lenient sometimes. I think having the text the way it is on this page gives a better effect.
I realize "thock" might not be the best fitting onomatopoeia here, but I can't think of any other… so… there you go.
In the fourth panel, it may not be very clear, but the marking on Leanael's hand shows for a split second; basically it flashes into view and then back out again. (In the next panel it's gone.) I wasn't sure how I was supposed to show a flash of not-light. Yeah.
