Pretty colours… O.O
I'm not sure exactly why Vark ever thought he could damage the thing with his claws. Apparently blue magic doesn't help either. (Note that I don't call it what it really is; it's not technically magic but I'm not telling what it's really called. :) 'Twill all be explained in due time.) I had fun drawing the vines. The only problem is that after inking them on the computer they looked all weird. Hmph. The colours were also a generally slow pain to do. That's why the comic is in greys.

I'm not sure how evident it is but in the second last panel the vines are sucking up the blue magic. I realize it's pretty obvious now what it is, but I'm not about to call it that yet. ;)
