I was thumbnailing this page when I suddenly found another meaning to Vark's plan speech thing. I looked at it and basically saw him saying, "You go look for them while I sleep." xD Then he goes up into a tree to do just that. As he said before, he does have a cave in the mountains, but only he has access to it and he wants Leanael to find him later. Besides, trees probably better to sleep in than cold stone caves.
Ugh, more shaking Dragon. I have this thing against shaking Dragons. Grr. I know just shaking won't actually get you dry, but I'm tired of drawing wet Dragons. And more walking, too. But not far. Because I'm dead tired of drawing them walking between trees and in a field and in sand and whatever else there is. At least I didn't have to draw Vark's legs in the fourth panel. I have issues with drawing Dragon feet. I've changed from clawed to not-clawed and back, and now I've decided to change again. The clawed ones have been bugging me. Hopefully this is the last time I change my mind. Hmm, wings really do block a lot of a character out. Leanael would probably have her hands on her hips if it weren't for the wings blocking you from telling and thus making me too lazy to do anything. Wings are also hard to draw on a serpentine Dragon like Vark. He must be very flexible… The second last panel was supposed to be a half-bird's eye, half-straight on view. I dunno really. It looked better in the thumbnail. Actually that happens a lot.
