You know what? YOU KNOW WHAT? I'm FED UP with not updating. It's been three months. I'm busy with school and choir and piano and violin and counterpoint and orchestra and outdoor ed, but I still have free time. I've thought to myself numerous times, "I should be working on ToK the comic." And then I decide I'm too lazy to get out my tablet, so I don't work on it. In the moment, I'm satisfied to be lazy. But in the long run it's really, really annoying! And of course the worst part is that I'm the only one to blame. So you know what? I'm updating! That's right! You get a page today just because. I'm hoping it'll somehow spur me into working on the comic more. Read the news if you're bored and want to listen to me rant (or, well, read my rant, anyway). Maybe if you leave a comment I'll feel like working more. Maybe not. I'm just kinda mad at myself at the moment. Note that I'm not finished my buffer, so updates will probably not be regular.
So page news stuff. This page and a couple of the next ones were drawn before my hiatus and drawing-style-shift, by the way. I finished it after, though. I'm proud of my semblance of continuity in this scene. Continuity, I have learned, is not something with which I go well. But I managed to keep reminding myself where the light is coming from, and I shade from there.
The only reason I call it "Dragons' Cave" is because it's a cave and it's got Dragons in it. >.> I was lost for a title. Fear my stalactites and stalagmites of doom. I'm okay with drawing a whole load of them because they’re not as complicated as trees. The first panel, while simple, is one I like. Leanael's wings particularly.
