058: The "Fight"

***NOTICE ON UPDATES***
Due to the amount of time I have these days to work on the comic and my lack of ability to keep to a schedule, ToK will now update whenever I have a page ready. Also, after this page, ToK comic pages will NOT BE TONED. They will consist solely of LINEART, plus panel lines and text and bubbles because those are just necessary. I've thought about this decision for a while now, and truth be told I really, REALLY want to keep the story going. I'm tired of hanging around in chapter three and stuff. New characters don't appear until chapter seven, and in my point of view the story doesn't really start going until chapter nine. My stories focus on character much more than plot, just by a personal bias of mine. So I'm going to be posting LINEART until further notice. Maybe when I have time in the future I'll tone these pages. Or just when I come back for a redux version. (Because I can almost guarantee it's going to happen.)

Alrighty! Somehow (and I'm not 100% sure how… heck, I'm not even 10% sure…) Photoshop Elements 6 got fixed on my computer, so now I can do digital comic work again! *cheers* The only problem is that for some reason the function to shrink my images doesn't work. So I do that over on DeviantArt. At least now I can have a more or less consistent size. (By width anyway, which is what counts.)
I finally went and remade my ToK colour swatch palette. I really hate the fact that you can't reorganize the order of the swatches - you have to put them in in order, or leave them random, or delete the ones after so you can insert one. The good thing is that PE6 recognizes my PE3 palettes. *phew* I've sorta changed my toning/shading style. No other comment on that. ;]
So this is the first page I drew after the hiatus, or, well, in my new "style" thing. I hadn't drawn people really small for a while, nor had I drawn non-full-body shots. I had a few issues with this page… gah.
I laugh because I don't actually know anything about fighting. I'm using common sense and what I can glean from stuff I already know, so don't kill me if anything is inaccurate. It seems true enough to me.
The dialogue on this page is a bit weird. It skips from one topic to another then back, and then to another. And so on. Plus the whole "wanting" bit is weird in my ears. :\
Oh thick lines how I love theeeee~ *prances off, singing* Aah, I haven't finished a comic page in ages…
