Original text: *** The moment the Spirit touched the body there was a flash of silver light and they were one again. She just managed to flatten herself against the ground and Ciaran's blade whooshed over her head. He sprung up, bounced off a stalagmite, and landed a wingspan away from her. *** Finally, I don't have to do any more spirit colour stuff! Geez, it was getting kinda tedious. Although I must admit using Photoshop filters is fun.
I rather like the eye sequence in the middle. It's like the one where she separated her body and spirit, but I decided to do that one that way after deciding this one. Eyes are lots of fun to draw. Regarding quality of drawing on this page, I like Ciaran in the first panel (he looks kinda vulnerable, haha) and the second-last panel (I know it doesn't flow very well comic-wise, but it was tough to draw anyway), and don't like Leanael in… well, in any of the panels (weird angles). I don't like Ciaran in the third-last panel much either - he looks kinda stupid. And I totally botched his right foot in the last panel. O.o Hmm… now that I think of it, Ciaran seems kinda OOC in this page.
Flippy flippy! Wevlynq have more acrobatic skillz (yes, skillZ) because they can lift with wings. And their bones are hollow, so they're lighter. AND they're always training or whatever and are on average rather stronger than humans. Olympics? Anytime, baby. ^.~
Random note: Oh, by the way, I've uploaded chapter 1 of the written version of Tales of Kenah to my deviantArt account. If you'd like to go read, the link to my account is above the comic page on the front page. Other chapters will come later.
