In my head-canon, Mage Angelo became SO jaded by these events that he just straight up screws a bunch of people over. You know…for fun.
There was also a time where I freakin' forgot how to spell Alistair's name. It annoys me now.
But this is how things flow into Dragon Age II which stars WARRIOR AJ.
The next comics are much, much more fanfiction-y and barely follow the game. While it is true you can find Alistair drunk in a bar in DA2…you can't recruit him to be your drunken warden friend.
The development time was so short for that game. I'm sure they just didn't have the time. :B
