Well at long last, Chapter 5 is done with. I have planned out two final chapters, however I have decided to wait to do these. The reason is because after taking a look at the numbers, I drew only 1/4 the number of comics in 2007-2008 as I had done in the previous years. I chalk this up to a full college schedule, and basic laziness. To be honest, drawing the comic has become somewhat tedious. But I don't plan to give it up, especially since the story is almost over. Instead, after comic 300 I will be starting a filler series called "Tales of Magid: Halcyon Days". I'm doing this for two reasons: one, because HD will be drawn in much simpler style and will be black and white, cutting comic time down from 6-7 hours to about 1.5 per comic, allowing me to actually get three updates out a week and keep people happy. The other reason is because the filler stories, which are comedic and light hearted, should help me become reinvested in the main comic. While the filler goes on, I'll be creating new Kyoto Ordeal strips to have as a reserve at my own pace. I have 5 stories planned for the filler, and the normal comic will resume afterwards, hopefully with many weeks of uninterrupted posting. Anyway, thanks for putting up with me and I hope you enjoy comic 300 and Halcyon Days.
