"Of course the great southern woodlands of Grim were by no means safer than any other part of the Greater Wilds connecting the seven cities of the Wild Continent. Indeed many of the same dangers that to this day lurk among the trees have been reported and accounted again and again throughout what historic records remain. Perhaps no danger was more concerning however than the creatures known as Lesser Golems. Ever hungering, never resting and utterly without anything akin to a soul; the lesser golems were believed to have been created as the catastrophic result of unregulated cross-testing between a standard utility golem creation spell and an experimental automatic casting charm. No records exist to verify these claims, however the author has it on good authority that-"
