Sulu gets another nosebleed. This Sulu has this reaction to naked boobs like that anime trope. George Takei's sexuality has nothing to do with this. Though Mr. Takei would probably get a gaffaw out of it. There are also a few characters named for anime characters like Nurse Hakufu and the upcoming Lieutenant Lenalee.

Nurse Hakufu looks a lot like her anime counterpart.
Whether she goes all kung-fu on the baddies remains to be seen.

And Lieutenant Lenalee doesn't have the pony tails or the green hair. But the figure does resemble the character. But no flying boots, or at least none that figure in this comic.
