The ship reacts. It is a small crew so Spock's observation is correct. And the ship could have been intentionally undermanned with all this talk of double-shifts.
Commander Snooti started life as an Al Pacino figure. When I was working on my fantasy comic he got the pointed ears and soul patch of a gnome and had sections cut from his legs and arms to make him shorter. But then Al Pacino is short so it kind of evens out. Snooti was the name of an old friend's D&D character who was a playful gadfly of a gnome in stark contrast to the typical Viking types who otherwise inhabited the campaign.
I wanted to do the off-duty sleepy head. Originally she were supposed to be found in her sleep attire but the shooting schedule freed up uniforms. It comes out, There are less uniforms than figures. So the stripping is more than just a gratuitous plot device. As characters get stripped it frees up the uniforms for other figures. Star Trek uniforms for 12" figures can be pretty dear on my budget. Strangely there was only ever one male red shirt ever made; Scotty. So all those security types are reusing that one uniform. Females either use the red Barbie dress, the Ken gold shirt or 9" figure shirts. Trying to find the rare nurse Chapel figure is not worth the trouble or cost for her uniform.
While waiting a battery charger for my new camera picture taking has been on hiatus. But there is still a ten page buffer. That works out to three weeks and a spare.
