@Banes: you got it!  Yes the final battle is soon to be joined!  Though dressed the girls aren't precisely in uniform.  Star Fleet never had white stockings and garters as part of the uniform.

This page they free the prisoners!  The exact same corridor shot has been used for the storeroom entrance throughout the whole comic.  It is a still from the series and not a 3-D render.  And there is the fabulous Vulcan neck pinch.  In my version of the Universe other races use similar pinches so there is a familarization course in SIG training where you get one.  Whether Aura was trained to give one? Well with Spock around there is no need for her to show off.

There is an early 1970's movie with Vincent Price, Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee that ends with a face-off between Lee and Price.  It's called Scream and Scream Again and though a seriously flawed movie with a plot that goes in too many directions at once it has a "super-human" character who kills using neck pinches.  Precise copies of the Vulcan neck pinch but with the results of the Vulcan death grip as featured in the episode Enterpirse Incident. Funny because the movie was made after Star Trek: the Original Series had finished its run.  Maybe Roddenberry was too busy with other projects to sue them or it was less litigious society in the 1970's.

The movies' only worht is the face-off between Vincent Price and Christopher Lee. Even the nudity is throw-away stuff though the torture scene with Yvette Suzgard in the tightest half buttoned blouse yet seen is interesting. WOuld have been more interesting if it had burst open but you'll have to watch Lust for a Vampire to see that.

Just more glimpses into the grist for my creative mill.  I might do a tighter version of Scream and Scream Again as a Belinda Brandon vehicle.  And yes I do have both Christopher Lee and Vincent Price figures.  Maybe Lon Chaney Jr. or Telly Sevelas could replace Cushing as he was in a throw-away cameo anyway and doesn't appear with either Price or Lee. Disappointment. Talk about a show-down scene. Imagine Cushing, Lee and Price in one scene! Wow!

Vote for the Drunk Duck awards.  Vote your favorites or what you think deserves to win! I might get a few nods but really support some other great comics out there. Remember it's Tales of SIG: Star Strip.  I really want best parody/tribute for the loving homage to Star Trek. And just wait next week should be the pages the Enterprise crew. I have since added Picard to my figure collection so there will be a future story with that captain featuring him  probably as the head of the court matrial board for Rickover along with Kirk and the original Pike.
