The Granley Empire…Empress Cylindra.
This is the first of a few profiles on one of the major powers on Plat…The Granley Empire. On land they are almost unbeatable…their entire Empire was conquered in land battles…but their sea forces are VERY lacking. They wish to conquer the world. They know if they are to have any chance of doing that…they MUST build a Navy that can fight Terga.
The Len are the majority race in Granley. a lot of Len have a fierce aversion to humans…but not Empress Cylindra…since she, herself, had a human breeder male as her father.Her lover Karen is a full human.Most humans in Granley are slaves…but a few…such as Karen…are citizens…some human families manage to buy them selves out of slavery…some get out through combat contests sponsored by prominent Granley citizens…and some were born free.Humans aren't the only slaves in Granley, either. During the wars that built the empire…many races were enslaved as Granley swept in and conquered their lands.
Other races…such as the Buuvee, also are citizens of Granley, and even can rise to prominence.
Though the Granley Empire is vast…the majority of beings that inhabit the entire world of Plat are human.
