Seventh seal of a seventh seal

I have had this idea for a while, but wanted to find a good spot to fit it in to the narrative. I thought with a new landlady finding her feet now would be a good time. For those who don't spot the reference I have riffed off the Ingmar Bergman film The Seventh Seal here, where a knight plays chess wih death himself. Just the kind of thing that happens at the Sly Ditt Inn.
