And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a Tuesday update! Cue 1812 overture.

On an unrelated note, stupidest thing I did this week: I learnt in Evolution lectures last year that apes groom each other, so every time anyone's said "world's oldest profession…" I've always thought, hang on, it's hairdressing. I couldn't understand where the evidence was for the *other* oldest profession.
But I worked it out today. Because those apes didn't come into existence from their parents getting the Graduated Bob with Highlights. Although it probably helped. No-one likes a bad haircut.
