LARP, in case you're not an afficionado, is dungeons and dragons with costumes, mock locations and squishy weapons. It was invented in 1994 by Jimmy LARP who realised that computer nerds needed a reason to leave the house, and so invented LARP. As far as I can gather, it involves roleplaying in the great outdoors and I'm not sure where they roll the dice to work out how much damage you've taken when you get hit. Possibly in the losing players' shoes. Some people don't like LARPers, although I'm not entirely sure why. When I find out, I will relay the information to you all.
