Stuff that went wrong while I was making Episode 37:
First Paint opened a new file as a JPG, despite having opened as bitmaps for the past sixteen years I've been using Paint. So when I saved as a BMP, the colours looked yellow and green.
When I tried to fix this I cut off the Mayor's head in panel 1.
Then I started from scratch, and somehow where all the speech boxes fitted perfectly before, now they don't, so Roderick had to move in panel 2, and Warrior's explanation had to be cut. He was supposed to say: "we're just here to find out how much gold Lord Dandy-Fop should give you for reparations."
As I was typing out everyone's words for panel 2, my keyboard decided to turn on caps lock every time I tried to type everything. Then it promptly went into Stealth Keyboard Mode where it refuses to be recognised by the computer. Then the computer decided that the control key was being held down EVEN WHEN I UNPLUGGED THE KEYBOARD FROM THE COMPUTER!! Since I rarely use the mouse, this was a problem. Oh, and Mr Inventor of Microsoft Troubleshooter, which tells you to unplug the faulty device *then* go into device manager: the device has to be plugged in before it shows up on device manager. Duh.
So I had no keyboard for several days and had to leave the computer switched off until it stopped sulking.
Then I realized the Mayor had no arms in panels 2 and 3.
So this is the Stupidly Complicated Episode.
