Episode 51: That's No Excuse For A Day Off

The photograph behind Wizzard in the oval shaped panel is one which I took from the top of the Pentlands in Edinburgh on a visit in 2004. This is funny (to me) because I never expected to see them again, but they're right there in the view from my window in the flat I moved into in December. They're covered in snow now.

The monster's tentacles, by the way, cover the entire spectrum. The shimmery ones are infra red and ultra violet. Lots of ultra violet because it's a huge part of the spectrum, totally disproportionate to its representation in this drawing.

Here's the strangest thing: Tank Quest ought to be the worst webcomic on this site by a long shot. Combine that with the fact that 90% of Tank Quest readers will flick through it once, say "I don't get it" and go somewhere with less experimental writing and pretty pictures. Bearing this in mind, please share my shock at the news that, for some reason, there are 13,300 comics LESS POPULAR than Tank Quest on this site.
