7 - The Market by Elliot
Gregory onThe Market
Today's page is brought to you by Elliot, the boy obsessed with hamsters and dinosaurs. This is the first time we get some design discrepancies, but just keep in mind that the jacketed fellow is our hero, and the man in the cage was the crewman from page 1. I love Elliot's linework and expressions. I love the llama in the background of panel 1. I love it so much, I brought it back later on in the story.
The story so far: There's a fella leaving Contell on an airship and heading to the continent of Roth, despite the King's orders that it is illegal. There is an evil in motion. The airship has crashed and now our hero faces off against an old foe. Having subdued his opponent, our hero moves towards the capital city of the Rothian continent: Roth. Elsewhere, a man murders his wife under the influence of some evil. On a balcony of the Roth Council House, a young lady's mother calls her back inside. (Today) Our hero moves into the city of Roth and discovers that the crewman he talked to on the airship has been captured.
This comic is built on community artwork. If you'd like to draw a page or two, let me know.Process for contributing:
1. If you're interested, contact me. I'd prefer it if you'd email me at twighlightaz@yahoo.com. I will check the comments, so if you leave your email address down there, I can get ahold of you then if you'd like.
2. I will send you a script via email. Now, the scripts are most certainly flexible, but I ask that you don't deviate too much when drawing the characters. They vary in appearance for the first 14 comics, but by number 15, the lovely Wazaga pretty much sets the record straight.
3. You send the finished page back to me, and it should be up in a day or two. You'll get copious amounts of credit and I'll forever be indebted to you.
Give Elliot's page a visit and tell him to upload more drawrings. His is some of the funniest stuff I've seen on the Duck, though his post-Meltdown output isn't what it used to be. So let him know how much he's loved. (A lot.)
