17 - The Dialogue by Wickedrealms
Gregory onThe Dialogue
This ends the makeshift "Chapter 1."
Here's another stunning page by wickedrealms, who's comic I cannot find anymore. He has a Buzzcomix ID, but apparently he didn't bring his comic back post-Meltdown. It was called Skeletons in the Closet. If anyone finds it, let me know, eh?
The story so far: There's a fella leaving Contell on an airship and heading to the continent of Roth, despite the King's orders that it is illegal. There is an evil in motion. The airship has crashed and now our hero faces off against an old foe. Having subdued his opponent, our hero moves towards the capital city of the Rothian continent: Roth. Elsewhere, a man murders his wife under the influence of some evil. On a balcony of the Roth Council House, a young lady's mother calls her back inside. Our hero moves into the city of Roth and discovers that the crewman he talked to on the airship has been captured. He decides to rescue him. In the jail, the crewman converses with the jailor. In the Council House, our hero encounters the young lady from before, and it turns out she has a mean pet. Our hero is informed by the young lady that the Council House is meeting today. They go their separate ways, and our hero has reached the jail. The young lady is pensive in a hall lined with weaponry and decides to take one of the more appealing items from the wall. The Roth Council is upset over the Contellian smuggling, but one young Councilman is discontent. Together, our hero and the prisoner make an escape. That young lady decides she would like to follow our hero in his escape. Today Elsewhere, the old foe our hero faced earlier has a dialogue with the evil in motion. End of Chapter 1.
This comic is built on community artwork. If you'd like to draw a page or two, let me know. All you need to do:
1. If you're interested, contact me. I'd prefer it if you'd email me at twighlightaz@yahoo.com. I will check the comments, so if you leave your email address down there, I can get ahold of you then if you'd like.
2. I will send you a script via email. The scripts are certainly flexible and I always love hearing the artists' thoughts.
3. You send the finished page back to me, and it should be up in a day or two. You'll get copious amounts of credit and I'll forever be indebted to you.
I'm really excited for the new pages in progress right now. Mm, mm good.
