Firstly, this was science homework about radio carbon dating. Secondly, as I say I always try, this actually happened. Below is what actually transcribed:

Me: Hey Gavan (I spelled it wrong in the comic), I need some of your wit to go into my comic on the internet. Also it's for the science homework.

Gavan: Sure! Fire away!

Me: Have you ever wondered how Carbon Dating works?

Gavan: No

Me: Well, it goes like this

And the rest is exactly the same as in the comic.
