The world of Unforgivable has a large diverse history, spanning a number of peoples and countries. Overall theres a number of similiarities between our history and planet, and that of Unforgivables.

For the first X number of years, life evolved, certain creatures had inate magical ability which aided them in their lives. One of the more notable still living examples of this is the ShimmerMinx. A small catlike creature with the ability to magically cloak itself and teleport short distances, the creature can also feed itself. The animals also very friendly, meaning its a common pet.

Eventually Dragonkind came into being, and eventually achieved sentience and mastered the flows of magic. Draconis was the first civilisation to touch the face of the earth. Amazing living cities that were one with the planet, and a race of beings beneficial to all and wonderfully smart.

The Dragonkind discovered a creature that had evolved a rudimentry intelligence. They lived in caves, and could channel magic on instinct, to light fires and the sort. The Dragons kept an eye on these new creatures, aiding them where it was needed, and guiding them closer to civilisation.

And thus the Cavebear was born. Over the next couple of generations they bred rapidly, and grew in intelligence. Soon they had developed a language of their own and some had even learnt Dragon and they negotiated and bartered with the Dragonkind for goods and knowledge.

Of course apart from some interesting foods the bears made, there wasnt anything of the bears that Dragonkind could want for, but they traded because it made the bears felt they had somehow earned the knowledge, and a sense of worth was good for this fledgling race.

After a couple of hundred years, the bears began to build towns, and cities. Yet unlike the dragons who use what the land gave, or grew what buildings they needed, the bears cut down trees, and cut stone to make houses and castles. The dragons were horrified by this, and attempted to convince the bears to stop.

It was at this time, one of the first dark wizards stepped out of the shadows. Lord Hemaritae one of the first to tap the Deathforce stepped forward to the negotioation table, and simply killed everyone at it. The dragons, who had been entirely at peace for almost a thousand years now had little idea of what to do in such a situation
it took almost 6 months for dragons and bears alike to figure out a way to stop Hemaritae, all the while he was gaining a following of death dealers.

And so began the first war on the planet. Hemaritaes and his forces had killed several thousand dragons and bears by the time it started, and yet more died before he was finally stopped, which wasnt before he unleashed a terrible plague upon the world.

Unused to disease the plague killed all but 500 dragons, and made most of those infertile. Dragonkind was now a dying race, and in the time they had left, they transfered all their knowledge to 12 great bears, of incredible magical power, charging them with stopping any and all evil that threatened this world.

And thus the first Council of Twelve came to be. The council of Twelve ruled alongside the Directorate Council which deal with daytoday matters of bearkind.

And now bears took 2 distinct paths, one was that of magic, and another was that of technology, as not all bears had much skill or power with magic, and Artificing and Initiation hadnt yet been developed.

The Two Councils ruled safely and soundly for 2 millennia, quashing all evil along the way, until the rise of Necr and the second great war.
