Astris Bandit Episode One Page 1

So, the first page. I always struggle with beginnings. Heck, Bandit began in 2005 and a Re-launched it about 6 months later because I thought I'd got it wrong. Sadly, a lot of my projects go that way. Given that I've drawn comics set in the Astris Galaxy for say, ooh, ten years now I've always fallen over at how to introduce the dang thing. So with Bandit I made a big decision. Aim small. Previous comics always had way too much going on to ease a reader into gently.Too much back story on my part. So I decided to make Bandit a simple, easy to understand concept. And whaddya know, it worked! Finally I got my beginning, and a year later, I'm still drawing Bandit pages, if a little sporadically.
