Ventricle Clarkson was at the party, so Val had to run the register herself. She can do that. She works there, you know.

I promised last strip that this one would be fact-dense, so here's three facts: 1. The gag in the first panel only happened because those Oreos were pretty much the only snack I had. 2. I learned that Oreos were vegan between making the comic and writing these notes. Thankfully, the comic is basically about things not making logical sense, so it's fine. 3. My mom made me wipe down the floor before putting the Oreos down, even though they're in a package. I'm still not sure what her logic was there.
