Clearly the path on the right is the correct one because it's the right path.

Sampson and Flout were introduced in Strip 15, if you don't remember them. I don't think I need to say this, they've shown up a lot since then and are pretty memorable, but every strip since the party arc involving them has mentioned who they are in the author's notes. No reason to stop now.
