Thomas wasn't paying enough attention to know what Calder was responding to. He won't realize they're leaving until a few minutes after they get home.

And with that, the camping arc has been finished! I think we've hit a sweet spot with both arc length and arc content. It went on for long enough to be substantial, and yet not long enough to get old, and something noteworthy and status-quo-shifting happened (Vivian) while staying within the arbitrary events vibe of the comic. (Or at least act one of the comic…wink)

(Oh, and if you're confused about that stalkless speech bubble in panel 2, that's meant to be a sound effect, showing how everyone is talking over each other with their complaints.)
