Strip 114: Ends Meet

Okay, panel border, now you're just showing off.

Here's some of the creative process that went into that fourth panel. At first, they were all clustered in the middle, like you'd expect normally. But that made it look like they were all standing together, and I wanted it to look like they were walking away from whatever they were doing before, so I spaced them out. And in that stage, I had Vent in the front (everyone else is following him), then Martin, Val, Teddy, and Tetra, in that order, but then I switched Martin and Val, and Teddy and Tetra, to reflect what their walking speeds would probably be. And then the dynamic layout of the speech bubbles I was forced to do because of the placement made it look even more like they were walking.
