Dialog Free Comic Day

Time to explain this update. May 13th was "Dialog Free Comic Day" and I found out at the last minute so I quickly did up this one page comic and posted it to my blog. I normally don't like posting rough/unfinished art but that's the way the cookie crumbled for this one. Though I will be doing the odd one page story I won't be posting them unfinished (I hope). So yeah, a bit of a cheat for today's update.

Thanks for the comments on the backgrounds on that last page. I typically do a bit with the line weights (using a thinner brush and thinner and thinner lines to give depth) and in the future I'll be trying out some of your suggestions as well as other stuff. Live and learn right? :)

Legend Comics – Thanks again for the suggestions. I really have to work on incorporating more heavy blacks into my work. And yeah, that fanboy was actually rather fun to throw in there.

shastab24 – I was actually having some trouble with his hands and meant to go back to fix them after finishing off the rest of the panel. But I guess in a way it does work, I'll leave it to the readers' to decide for themselves what exactly his response is.

Locoma – Hopefully you like the next villain too.

Piperson – He won't be the next villain but he most likely will be appearing at some point soonish. I'm aiming to throw in a few things from time to time that will pay off later, I see them as little gifts for regular readers.
