I think the extended break (and this latest one) may have killed the joke a bit. I was originally considering having him say he was missing Jersey Shore but when shastab24 commented on page 2 about Jersey Shore I decided to go with Survivor instead. And a little backstory, Master Mummy was originally thought up during the Canadian federal election which is why I decided to give him the trait of world domination and making promises (getting rid of reality TV) that he won't keep. Cynical? Perhaps.
And as for the "ninja mummies", I think I could have done a bit more pre-work to nail down their appearance. I'm not sure I'm sold on how they look so there may be some differences the next time you see them (or maybe not).
Thanks for comments on my friend, I haven't been able to see him post-operation but I've been told he's doing well and in good spirits (he usually is). And thank you for coming back after the lengthy break.
