So I don't know how many of you know what I do for a living, other than draw these webcomics… I am a medical technician at a locked dementia and Alzheimer's unit. Sounds fancy but really I just took a week-long class to be able to pass medicine and inject diabetics with insulin. I do love my job a whole lot, but sometimes I get too attached and it causes a lot of troubles for me.
I lost a resident today while I was in charge, and every time I lose someone there it's like losing one of my own grandparents. I just lost my favorite resident exactly a month ago in the same way (no food, no drink - just pain medication because they can't swallow anything) so it's really tough to watch them go. I'm still a little bit stunned and due to some other personal things going on at home, I just can't concentrate on my webcomics no matter how hard I try. I'm gonna take a week off and just let myself draw some ideas without worrying about getting the pages out.
TLDR; I'm a big baby and my brain isn't working so enjoy this picture of Jimmy hugging his Korean grandma.
