This is the second webcomic I've done that references Copernicus. Weird.

I was somewhat reluctant to use this gag. I almost went with it last week but decided on the Penis Monologue instead. I don't really consider the gag to be all that great.

So, if I'm not very confident about the gag then why did I select it for this week's strip?

Um, I don't really have any other ideas right now. Yep, you're getting barrel scrapings from me.

Still, I've been wrong about certain strips before. Maybe this will be a big hit.

I would be remiss to avoid pointing out this strips' similarity to a webcomic entitled Orbit. (Found on both drunkduck and orbitcomic.com) That strip is by a gentleman named Johnny Lin and it is both a clever and cute webcomic. Another reason I didn't really want to go with this gag idea was because I didn't want to draw any comparisons to Orbit.

Of course, there's plenty of other comics that involve anthropomorphic celestial bodies talking to each other. (Including an early entry of the Perry Bible Fellowship)

I suppose that I can't win.
