The artwork for this strip is a lot more heavily detailed than the sort of thing I usually put into my comics. I even used some photographic references for the rooster itself.

I did this because I thought a less cartoony looking rooster would add some impact to the punchline on panel four. I think this week's strip is a pretty weak concept and that it can use all the help it can get.

I used a font based on the KFC logo for this strip. Regular Capital of Helsinki readers may recall how I bitched about the plethora of Kentucky Fried deviations I encountered while attempting to locate a font for my Popeye-themes strip.

Let it not be said that I can't turn lemons into lemonade.
