This one was sitting in the back burner for quite a while. Most of you will probably see this as a mediocre gag.

However, I myself am always a sucker for a good "Beethoven is deaf" joke. They're like the less nasty variation of all the Helen Keller jokes.

For those who aren't in the know, the title for this strip is the opening verse of the "Ode to Joy". This poem was used prominently for the choral segment of Beethoven's 9th symphony.
