This strip is based on A Clockwork Orange, a film directed by Stanley Kubrick and derived from the novel by Anthony Burgess. Some believe that the movie is a parable about the nature of morality and free will. Others believe that it's a pretencious pile of crap that glorifies both crime and violence against women.

Of course, all of that mess would've been circumvented had the hooligans in the movie gone out to the pasture and pulled some traditional hillbilly pranks.

I looked at a couple of screenshots of the movie in order to get the tone right. I tried to walk the line between "using a reference" and "swiping", but I don't know if I pulled it off.

Also, since it's been a while since I watched the movie or read the book, I went through a couple of glossaries of the slang words in order to get them as accurate as possible.
