I'm not sure why I was struck with the desire to do this one. Maybe I somehow believe that I can convince others that the joy I derive from making atrocious puns is actually caused by an outside source.

I feel the need to point out all the artistic references I made in the inital two panels. There is, of course, Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa". She is talking to "The Laughing Cavalier", which was painted by Frans Hals. Standing in the background is "The Son of Man" by Rene Magritte.

Edvard Munch's "The Scream" is reacting poorly to an upside down urinal. That object is a reference to the da da art of Marcel Duchamp. Also hanging on the wall in panel one is a soft watch, which is a recurring image in the work of Salvador Dali. "The Persistence of Memory" being the most famous example of this.

The ballerina standing next to the urinal in panel one is modeled after the figure in Edgar Degas' "The Dancer". The man standing nest to the Mona Lisa in panel two is derived from Gilbert Stuart's iconic portrait of George Washington.
