I had wanted to come up with a werewolf gag in time for Halloween. It didn't really trouble me all that much though. If I couldn't think of anything by October 31st I could just do it a few weeks later. It's not like anyone would raise a fuss over monster jokes at some other time of the year.

Of course, any qualms about whether or not this sort of thing is time sensitive is all moot now. I suddenly found myself pondering the circumstance of a werewolf hiding from an unruly mob in the depths of a furrie convention. This seemed like a good enough idea.

Naturally, I feel a little shame for lampooning furries since they're easy to ridicule and everyone else on the internet makes fun of them already. Then again, this is hardly the first time I pointed my cartooning gun at a barrel full of fish.
