john and paige have a thing going, you'll see it more as the story progresses. john knows all three of the guys here (pepper, corey, and brady) and knows the history behind them. he doesn't really care for corey but know what he doesn't deserve. that doesn't mean pepper is the giant villian here, just someone very troubled. it's hard living with someone with these quirks.
