derek won't really care if the cat is old or not, or one miserable in a nasty hoarders house who knows death is near. he's got a collar that's what matters. trevor's gotta keep quiet on the kitten he's taking, derek is a bit unpredictable so he could go apeshit on trevor not giving him fresher meat.
