you ever been in such horrible home situations you'll do anything to
escape the nightmare? there was a time years ago i was with someone really terrible who was a shadow of my dad, would've married him and had his kids years back. it was a form of escape from my issues and entering a nightmare that was arguably worse?

maybe not. this was a long time ago and i don't remember the last time i heard of the guy. i didn't even want to be close and that was the gut i ought to have listened to. at least it's just a cautionary tale to tell.
