You'd think over all the humming machines and so on, that guard could have made a quieter attempt to kill her. Fortunately he's no inquisitor, nor anyone of that calibre otherwise things might have played out a little differently for her.
Or would they, considering the last panel and the mysterious rose bloom of blood on the guy's forehead? Now who do you think did that?
