Fiona: Lord Ashton's looked better.

Smythe: Ah yes. Lord Percevil Ashton. Professor of medical sciences at the Mansfordshire academy. if memory serves. I scarcely recognized him.

Fiona: For the life of me, Smythe, I can't imagine why not.

Panel Two:

Norfolk: You knew him then?

Fiona: Whether by marriage or birth, you'll find that we blue bloods tend to migrate in the same circles, inspector.

Fiona: Seems there will be an empty place at Lady Cromwell's weekly bridge games in future.

Norfolk: Oh, you think so, do you?
