THE ARTIST
I am VERY proud of this page. I don't try drawing wide shots often in my comics, because they can be a lot trickier than close-ups, and require much more detailed art. This page I did several wide, establishing shots, and I think it seriously improves the quality, and the sense of place.

THE WRITER
Props to Milo on this character. When I first wrote Kevin I had a somewhat boring white guy in mind. When I gave Milo the script he said nothing about it. He drew up some concept pictures for all the characters in this issue, most of which translated into our final concepts. The one character who has not changed since Milo's first draft is Kevin. The minute I saw that he had translated Kevin as black, I felt it was right, not only for tyhe character, but for the comic as a whole.
