I admit it, I struggled very much with the events which transpire from here to the end of this chapter. I unfortunatly had to cut some corners and come up with a hasty series of events with little actual character development save for a few little things. I needed this chapter to introduce the key characters on my end of the story and set up how the plot would progress. Thusly, this chapter becomes a bizarre colection of brief character profiles and bizarre events that don't really support any kind of entertaining plotline. Then again, I guess that's waht the Crossroads is all about.
