For the first time, we meet some of the other huntresses that populate the hive. This one seems to have some animosity towards Saphyr - clearly there is a history between the two.
You can see that each huntress has a distinct outfit and set of tattoos and bone piercings - this reflects the pecking order and various achievements within the hive - but more on that as the story progresses.
Heading inside the chambers of the hive means more darkness - so the blacks and shadows will start to reflect that and hopefully create a different atmosphere.
