So I decided to paint a cover for the second chapter to bridge the gap before my next actual page (which will be up next week, hopefully dead on time). Oddly enough, this cover would have beetter suited Chapter 1 as (if you have been reading along) our heroine, the Huntress Saphyr, is currently imprisoned and not roaming free as this cover would suggest. However, since this was my first chance to apint Saphyr, I decided to portray her in her element - out in the forests surrounding the mountain city of Adanai, hunting for beast and blasphemers against the Goddess.This is a watercolour painting on paper that I scanned and then did some slight colour correction and added the sun in the background, but everything else is as it is on paper, so I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I haven't watercolours in a long while…
