Thanks for your patience! I had a pretty busy week so didn't get around to finishing this up as quickly as I'd hoped to. I'm figuring out strategies to cut down on the time needed for colouration, so hopefully the next update will be on time.
This is the first page I inked with the computer, using the inking tool in Gimp. Originally, I didn't think I'd feel comfortable inking on a tablet, but this came our pretty well and has certain advantages (e.g. making corrections, consistent tone) so I will stick with it for now. The colours on this page were a real challenge, not only because I'm new to using them, but especially because this happens to be a page with rather unusual and stark lighting conditions. Low sun, orange dusk. The lighting was a real challenge and I hope the colours give the right kind of atmosphere.
Story-wise, there may be a breakthrough between Adam and Emalaith…she seems to be questioning her role in Olias' plan, whereas Adam seems less concerned. The more we learn about each of their pasts, the clearer things will become.
